Beacon Health was founded by a team that's been on both sides of the surgical journey — as clinicians, as patients, and as family members supporting loved ones through recovery.
Our founders spent years watching patients struggle with post-surgical recovery — not because they lacked motivation, but because they lacked clear, accessible guidance. Paper instructions got lost. Verbal instructions were forgotten. And when questions arose at 10pm, there was no one to call.
At the same time, we saw clinical staff drowning in phone calls. The same questions, asked dozens of times a week. "Is this swelling normal?" "When can I shower?" "Did you say ice or heat?" Valuable time spent on routine queries instead of patients who needed real attention.
We built Beacon Health to bridge this gap. A platform that gives patients instant, accurate answers grounded in their clinic's own protocols — and gives practices the visibility and control they need to ensure every patient is on track.
